About Us

1979: Merdian is founded as a US Equipment Leasing Company.

1980’s: All through the 1980’s Meridian began their expansion, expanding their workforce by 55% in the US, with steady growth and building their portfolio of data processing and telecommunications equipment.

Meridian Leasing named the second largest independent computer leasing company in North America. 

1990’s: Meridian acquires several smaller leasing portfolios. Meridian entered the US Information Technology Value-Added Reseller space in the 1990’s. Making their first of several regional IT Value-Added Reseller companies in the US and UK.

2000’s: Meridian continues to acquire smaller regional  Value-Added Resellers and begins stretching more broadly in the US building its first data centers focused in multi-tenant shared services.  Our technical staff gains additional skills across secure networking, Unified Communications, Data Center services and operations, Managed services beyond maintenance, and software development.

2010’s: Meridian Leasing begins to diversify its equipment financing market to address healthcare and equipment handling and construction. Meridian acquires Concat AG in Germany and Tardis in Australia adding to the depth of capabilities creating a global reach for our company and our customers while adding additional skills and people to better service our customers’ technology needs. Opened offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.  Merdian Leasing expands into Canada, and our global footprint grows to 7 countries on 4 continents.   We opened 10 new data centers to serve our customers’ needs globally and began serving customers’ storage, compute, collaboration and other technology platform needs in both Private and Hybrid cloud environments.

2020’s: Meridian expands its services and offerings to add broader equipment financing flexibility and introduces its mFlex brands for finance alternatives.  Its Global IT business becomes more integrated and globally accessible for customers including introduction of new layers of integrated offerings for subscription based services including Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Data Protection, Backup and Recovery, Infrastructure, Platform, and Cyber Security as a Service to add to our compute and storage capabilities both in the cloud and on-premise.  For Meridian, Security has always been a priority.  And early in the 2020’s we’ve added three new Cyber Security Operations Centers around the world and expanded our Cyber security and software development operations while building our Artificial Intelligence capable and enabled infrastructures to better enable our customers to attain the value from their investments in technology.
